Retention pond near cemetery revisited: the men seem to be putting “finishing” (?) touches on the culvert that opens onto the future pond. The man in the picture is cleaning out the culvert opening—a shovel seems such a humble tool after seeing all the monster machines the men have been working with. Humble tools will always be needed by humankind, it seems.
The flattened area next to the gym reminds one that it will be the site of construction also—the gym annex. Inside the gym, the task of air conditioning moves forward. The men cluster in the corner near the outside door, making grand decisions, one supposes. On the ground floor, not too distant from the gym, the demolition of the wall between the consumer ed. room and the theater office is beginning. The stairwell near this area is still undergoing its transformation as the stairs and landing are being removed. Compare the picture from yesterday of this stairwell for the new moves. With all this going on, the blogger must keep on her toes (or on her knees, or hanging over a parapet, or prowling around after workmen are gone). Who wants dull moments on a construction site?
