Holiday Breather

What is this outside our front door? Hardly a student’s new car or the UPS man in a different truck? One never knows what one will see from the foyer. Actually, this site is welcome since it means that the trench work is now past the parking lot, and approaching the lot on foot or in the car from either direction is no longer such a challenge. Of course, it also means progress in laying the pipes heading for the detention pond, and thus general progress in the whole endeavor.
The retention pond on the other side of the soccer site is receiving finishing touches in excavation, another milestone. The theater site is moving forward with rods inserted in concrete, necessary for the next step in the connector.
And the fourth picture: what’s this? Is it really part of Panda World or of some distant shore? Kind of neat, don’t you think? It is a depression on the partly excavated Hilton Dr. hill as hinted by the corner of the gym that you can see in the upper left.
